Proving Your Relationship

You've been living together in a relationship for at least 2 years at the time of application.

To validate your relationship, submit evidence that is:

Purpose

Confirms your relationship status (e.g., cohabitation, shared expenses, marriage, or civil partnership).


Age

Must be less than 4 years old.

Initial Stay

You can initially stay for up to 2 years and 9 months.


Fiancés

If applying as a fiancé, fiancée, or proposed civil partner, your stay is limited to 6 months.

 

Extension
- Post-marriage or partnership, you can apply to extend your stay for another 2 years and 6 months.
